Approximately 3.4 million rode more than 110 days. Frequency has increased an average of 12% over the last decade. Women are increasingly being less interest in cycling while men’s interest increased 15%. The median age of bicyclists are 41 years old with 65% of all bike riders having a household income that equals more than $50,000 a year. An estimated 11% of riders are African American with 14% of bicyclists being Hispanic.
