How Jeff Bezos Grew His Net Worth to $59 Billion

Everyone wants the success and money that comes with being an entrepreneur, but not everyone is willing to put in the hard work that it takes to actually work for yourself. This means that it is a good idea to see the risk that others took and how it worked for them. You just need to make sure that you stay true to who you are and are not willing to give up along the way. Jeff Bezos is an individual that had an idea and made it come to life in a unique way that made him successful and wealthy. Here are the key takeaways from this infographic.

1) Took Ideas from Stan Lee.
You always assume that you have to have success at an early age, but this was not the case for one of Bezo’s idols Stan Lee. It was at the age of 39 when he was most successful. However, it was this age when Stan Lee had his success and Bezos learned this lesson from Lee early on that you have to go for what you want.

2) Internet and Ideas.
Bezos had many people that influenced him over the years, but he also saw how big the internet was growing and what type of impact you could have if you created an online marketplace. He had tried many different jobs since working at Princeton and always wanted to be an entrepreneur, but he was settling for working on Wallstreet. He had ideas that he thought could be lucrative, but there were many people in his life that tried to talk him out of going into business for himself. Ultimately his parents and his wife believed in him and invested in his idea to create an online marketplace known as Amazon.

3) Started Slowly.
The main reason that Bezos was able to have success in creating Amazon was because he started slowly and knew how to grow this online marketplace business at a rate that would make the most sense. He started to build his knowledge on things that would pertain to an online marketplace and came up with ideas that would actually work and ideas that could be put into motion.

It was risky of Bezos to try something different and invest money from his family in a business that was not a sure thing. It ended up being a great investment and paid of big time, but Bezos was always willing to take the risk, which is always the biggest thing.
