The One Constant On The Internet
Everyday millions of people around the world log into social networks. With the advent of smart phones this number is increasing more and more every day. It is now possible to stay connected like never before. You can make sure that you keep up with the latest trends and that you can communicate with everyone out there. 86% of users report being bothered by having to create new accounts on websites. 77% of users believe a social login is a good registration solution.
Not too long ago staying connected meant one thing and that was Facebook. With Facebook people were able to keep in constant contact with their friends. This website also allowed everyone to learn about businesses and news. Today however things have changed. It seems like almost every day there is a new website that allows you to do something new and different.
One of the trends that seem to be for business purposes is that Twitter is taking over. People love to hear about special deals and information from Twitter. Those one hundred and 20 characters seem to have captured the imagination of everyone.
Twitter is taking over as far as learning information about how to find companies to do business with. Everyone loves to tweet so it is gaining in market share. The fact is that with every day more and more people are connecting through Twitter.
Another place where Facebook is losing is in the travel industry. There was once a time when if you wanted a travel deal you would go to Facebook to see what you could find. Today that has changed, with Expedia, Priceline, and others the travel market has been cornered by travel websites.
These sites offer everything from the guaranteed lowest prices to the ability to bid on hotels, airfare and rental cars. People are flocking to these sites in order to save money on travel, and Facebook is losing its share of the travel market.
Finally there is shopping websites. Once the domain of Facebook this area is now being controlled by Amazon and eBay. The truth is that it is difficult to compete with these giants that do it so well. Think about when was the last time you wanted anything and you did not turn to Amazon?
While all of this is going on there remains one truth. Facebook is still the King. They still control around half of the market share and they are still growing. Regardless if you use Instagram or Tumblr everyone still returns to Facebook for connections with friends and family.
No matter what happens Facebook will be on top for awhile. They took over a space that was occupied by MySpace and never looked back. While trends will change it seems that the one constant on the internet is Facebook. That does not seem like it is going to change any time soon.
Last month, more than 2 million people visited Brandon's blog. He shares exactly how he took his blog from zero to 1 million monthly visitors here. His path to success was not easy. Brandon had to comeback from being disabled, by a rare health disorder, for most of his thirties. God delivered him from hardship and has blessed his family in so many wonderful ways.
