When you wake up with a massive hangover the last thing that you want to see is normally food. However, in the UK it is common practice to try curing a hangover with a huge breakfast. An English breakfast in the UK consists of bacon, eggs, sausage, toast, tomatoes and mushrooms. All of these ingredients are fried together and served with hash browns. The purpose of this large breakfast is to give your body the protein and fat it needs to allow the liver to recover.

This Italian cure for a hangover might leave many grossed out. A puzzle is essentially dried bull penis that is full of protein and minerals. This was even used during the 2008 Olympics by participants looking to increase stamina. I don’t know about you, but I will keep my hangover and pass on the dried bull penis.

Eyeball Tomato Juice

Even the Chinese have developed their own remedies for the hangover, but there methods may be a bit drastic for most. Putting sheep’s eyeballs in tomato juice is the hangover cure that many Chinese swear by. The tomato juice is designed to help flush the alcohol out of your system. This might mean that you could drink some tomato juice and forget about the sheep’s eyes.

Buffalo Milk

The Namibia cure for the hangover is pretty exotic and innovative. A drink called Buffalo Milk is made from cream, clotted cream, rum and crème liqueurs.
