They found that the social network became its number 1 social referrer, performing even better than Facebook in terms of generating traffic. Additionally, Pinterest users tended to be better customers, spending $180 on average versus just $85 with Facebook users.

The average user spends about 98 minutes a month on the website. US users tend to while away a bit more time, spending an average of one hour and 17 minutes on it.
