The best time to Tweet is early in the afternoon Monday through Thursday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Unless it is breaking news, avoid any form of tweeting breaking content after 8:00pm and forget about it after 3:00pm on Friday.
Twitter sees the most traffic between 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Thursday. Tweeting during peak times also means more competition so choose wisely.
Wednesday at 3:00pm is the best time for the highest average in click throughs. Generally links are posted mid week between 1:00pm to 4:00pm and see high click rates.
Overall traffic for Facebook starts at 9:00am and fades after 4:00pm. But waiting until 11:00am may be a good idea if you are looking to gain some more click-throughs.
