• 84.4% used LinkedIn accounts for free.
• 15.4% paid to use LinkedIn.
• 0.5% were not sure of the answer.

Question: How many First Level Connections do you have?
• 8.2% had 0-50
• 11.1% had 51-100
• 15.9% had 101-200
• 13.2% had 201-300
• 18.7% had 301-499
• 21.7% had 500-999 (this was the largest group)
• 8.0% had 1000-2999
• 1.3% had over 3000
• 1.4% were not sure

Question: Do you allow your first level connection see your entire first level connections?
• 63.3% said YES
• 12.2 said NO
• 24.5% were not sure

Question: How many groups are you in?
• 35.5% are in 1-9 groups
• 25.1% are in 10-19 groups
• 9.3% are in 20-29 groups
• 4.0% are in -0-39 groups
• 7.8% are in 40-49 groups
• 17.0% are in 50 groups

• 28.3% admitted to using it to identify business opportunities.
• 38.5% built new relationship with potential clients.

• 41.2% increased the face to face networking effectiveness.
• 35.8% increased the presence of their brands in the market place.
• 75.8% of users used LinkedIn to research individuals and companies. This was the most useful purpose.
• 70.6% reconnected with past colleagues and partners.
• 36.2% used LinkedIn to discover hidden business opportunities.

4.7% says it is of no use.
9.0% say is fairly important.
