Og Mandino, whose real name is Augustine, is the best selling author of The Greatest Salesman in the World. He served in the U.S Army during World War II and led over 25 bombing missions over Germany. After his time in the military he turned to insurance sales, where he learned some hard life lessons that inspired his best selling book. He sadly died in 1996 at the age of 72.
